On Thursday 23 July 2026, Cohort Innovation Space welcomed founders, investors, clinicians and industry leaders for LX Demo Night 2026, marking the conclusion of this year’s LuminaX HealthTech Accelerator.
After an intensive 14-week accelerator delivered at Cohort Innovation Space, eight HealthTech startups took to the stage to showcase solutions tackling some of healthcare’s biggest challenges. This year’s cohort highlighted a strong mix of preventative health innovations spanning SportsTech, BioTech and medical devices, demonstrating the breadth of innovation emerging from Australia’s HealthTech ecosystem.
The evening opened with a keynote presentation from Klaus Bartosch, founder of Dreamoro, a HealthTech venture capital fund and digital health studio. Drawing on his experience as both an investor and entrepreneur, Bartosch shared insights into what it takes to build globally scalable HealthTech companies, setting the stage for an evening focused on innovation, commercialisation and impact.
Founders then pitched their ventures to a packed audience, presenting technologies designed to improve patient outcomes, increase access to specialist care and reshape the future of healthcare. Among the innovations showcased were solutions helping make specialist expertise more accessible to remote communities, alongside advancements in diagnostics, digital health and preventative care.
The evening concluded with two awards recognising outstanding achievement throughout the accelerator.
The LX Startup of the Year 2026, presented by Dr Alan Parnham, was awarded to Brisbane-based Ketim Technologies, founded by Dr Clarissa Yates. The award recognised the team’s outstanding transformation, execution and progress throughout the LuminaX program.
The LX Fans’ Favourite Award 2026, presented by Invest Gold Coast, was awarded to Sonorus, founded by Julie Dao, whose pitch resonated strongly with the audience on the night.

With another successful cohort complete, LX Health is now looking ahead to the 2027 LuminaX HealthTech Accelerator.
