Based out of Cohort Innovation Space, LX Health has announced the 10 startups selected for its 2026 LuminaX HealthTech Accelerator.
Now in its sixth year, the 14-week accelerator supports some of Australia’s most promising healthtech, including medtech, sportstech and biotech founders, guiding them through an intensive commercialisation program designed to fast-track growth and market readiness.
This year’s cohort highlights a clear shift in the sector towards preventative and functional health. Many of the selected startups are focused on early disease detection, improving ongoing health monitoring, and empowering individuals to take control of their wellbeing before illness develops.
The innovations span a wide range of applications. From a predictive blood test for postpartum depression, to a non-invasive AI-powered heart disease screening device, and gamified mental health programs for primary school students, this cohort reflects a growing belief that the most effective healthcare interventions happen before treatment is required.
LX Health Program Director Dren Xerxa said the 2026 intake marks a milestone for the program, both in scale and quality.
