Cohort sign partnership agreement to bring government-subsidised digital workshops to the Gold Coast.
Cohort are proud to announce a new partnership agreement that has seen them team up with the Australian Government and RDA Brisbane to bring high quality, digital workshops to the Gold Coast.
The Australian Small Business Advisory Services (ASBAS) Digital Solutions program is an Australian Government initiative that is delivered across Queensland by RDA Brisbane.
These face-to-face workshops are currently run in 24 Local Government Areas throughout Queensland, from the Gold Coast right up to the Tablelands Shire in the far north.
As part of the national ASBAS program, Cohort will be delivering a varied range of digital workshops that have been designed specifically for businesses with 1-19 employees.
These 2-hour workshops are part of a national initiative that aims to help small business become more digitally capable across key priority areas:
- Websites and online selling
- Social media and digital marketing
- Using small business software
- Online security and data privacy

Delivering the workshops for the Gold Coast region is world-class marketing expert, Michelle Fragar.
With over 19 years industry experience having run global marketing departments, Michelle is at the forefront of marketing trends.
Michelle is a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) graduate and holds a position on the Queensland Committee of the Australian Marketing Institute.
Michelle says they are excited to have found a home for the Government Funded, ASBAS workshops on the Gold Coast.
“Cohort is an amazing venue and we look forward to helping the small business community with access to low cost, high quality, digital solutions and education” she said.
Michelle also heads up her own marketing and advertising agency, BRANDiT, helping Gold Coast businesses achieve in local and global markets.
CoSpaces General Manager, Ariana Margetts said the workshops were a welcome edition to the Gold Coast Health & Knowledge Precinct.
“Up-skilling courses are crucial for to ensure a business stays competitive in a very digital market” she said.
“Taking an entire day away from your business to upskill can be a challenge for small business owners, so these 2-hour workshops are perfect.”
Cohort have already locked in six workshops to be delivered over the next 3 months.
These workshops aren’t exclusive to Cohort members, they are available to every small business owner who who holds an ABN.
