A Popup Innovation Lab is coming to the Gold Coast.
Hundreds of Gold Coast innovators will come together this November as Cohort presents Horizon 2.0, a two-day Pop-up Innovation Lab built for the $5 billion Gold Coast Health & Knowledge Precinct.
Cohort, the new innovation space in the heart of the Health & Knowledge Precinct, has curated a powerful series of presentations, events and networking opportunities designed to showcase the remarkable capabilities of the Gold Coast’s health and technology sectors.
Horizon 2.0 will feature seven events over two days with a focus on digital innovation, technology and health. With the initiative supported by the Queensland Government and the City of Gold Coast, all events are free to attend, with guests required to register for their free ticket via the event website.
The line-up includes local experts and international speakers, with attendees having the chance to hear from Christopher Laing (USA), one of the world’s leading experts on innovation precincts, and the Executive Director of Capital City Innovation in Austin Texas.
One of the most popular events will be the Global HealthTech Pitch Night, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend a few hours learning from some of the world’s leading entrepreneurs, doctors and surgeons about how they’ve unlocked new ventures in MedTech.
Cohort CEO, Ben Howe said Horizon 2.0 is the first time the Gold Coast Health & Knowledge Precinct has seen a two-day event that celebrates and showcases the incredible advancements within the precinct.
“At Horizon 2.0, you will experience cutting edge technology, world-class speakers, facilitated workshops and an array of networking events” said Cohort CEO, Ben Howe.
Mr Howe said Horizon 2.0 would cover topics like:
• Global trends
• Big Data and AI
